I use 30# braid connected to a 10' 50# mono leader with an FG knot and a tactical angler clip at the end. It's a good setup. It's long enough to be a real shock leader as well as giving me something to grab without cutting my hand off when I'm up high on a rock. I never lose lures and believe me - I know how to foul a cast. LOL...
